Bob Senneff, President & CEO of Graham Health System in Canton has made a leadership
pledge of $500,000 towards the $12,400,000 Community Wellness Center & YMCA project, to
be located on the north edge of Elmwood.

What started as a simple conversation between Bob and Fred Paige, 15 years ago about Graham
Medical Group opening a clinic in Elmwood, turned into a series of serious meetings with Bob,
Dick Taylor and the Elmwood Community Foundation in 2017-2018 about partnering to bring
both healthcare and wellness to the region.

Today Graham has a thriving clinic practice in Elmwood, with patients from 235 distinct zip
codes coming to Elmwood for Primary, Specialty and Convenient “Walk In” Care since opening
5 years ago.

Bob is passionate about this project and invites others to embrace this vision, saying, “This is
really a once in a lifetime opportunity for this region, for us to significantly impact the quality of
life for the 18,000 residents living in the service area of the new Community Wellness Center &
YMCA. The facility will have a tremendous positive impact on us all, from the youngest
learning to swim, youth team sports, adult pickle ball and fitness and seniors accessing cardiac
rehab services, no one will go unserved. And, with the generous matching gift from the Doug
and Diane Oberhelman Family Foundation and The Gilmore Foundation, people can maximize
the impact of their gifts”

“I was blessed”, said Bob, “to be raised in a small Illinois community by two great parents, who
instilled a solid work ethic in me and my 5 siblings, and instilled an understanding that we have a
responsibility and obligation to give back when we have the ability to do so. I am proud to join
others in this capital campaign who have made the choice to invest in the quality of life for all
the residents of this region. The economic impact of this project will be immediate and ongoing,
the health and wellness benefits will pay dividends forever.”
